Louisa's Cafe & Bakery

When Louisa's Cafe and Bakery needed a new website, they also needed new menus, brochures, print ad, mailers, and stickers. With the help of Deborah Semer, Brandi produced a number of Louisa marketing materials.

Washington State Tourism

Brandi started working with Washington State Tourism as a contractor in 2005, through her former employer, LevySheckler. She was hired as a Project Manager to handle the website account for ExperienceWa.com.

Throughout the years, Brandi had been involved with many projects through the state tourism office until their closure in June 2011 (due to the state budget crisis). Here are some highlights:

EXPERIENCEWA.COM:
Content management for the official Washington State Tourism website, ExperienceWa.com (a 30,000 page website with 2M hits a year). License and manage photography for site. Handled social media photography campaign on Flickr. Research, planning and copywriting of home page and pillar page features, plus CMS entry of all new copy and photos in SharePoint.

Brandi received a certificate of recognition from the Washington State Tourism Office and the Department of Fish and Wildlife for "excellence, contribution, diligence, dedication, and durability in the planning and development of both the experiencewa.com web site and the first annual 2007 Washington State Watchable Wildlife Conference."

CENTRAL CASCADES MAPGUIDE:
This two-year project consisted of coordinating the creation of the Central Cascades Geotourism Project mapguide produced by National Geographic, in conjunction with Washington State Tourism and Travel Oregon.

Brandi also contributed and copyedited website content for the online version of the mapguide at thecentralcascades.com; plus coordinated the release event at the Seattle Public Library and created display material for the event.

SAVOR WASHINGTON:
Brandi assisted with special marketing projects, like Savor Washington, the culinary/agritourism program in conjunction with Washington State Dept. of Agriculture. She produced Savor Washington workshop materials/posters, social media for the Savor Washington Facebook page, culinary itineraries, ad designs, and coordinated events surrounding Savor Washington.

London Bridge Studio

London Bridge Studios is one of the longest running recording studios in Seattle. It is also famous for providing the stage for a number of Grammy winning artists. Brandi worked with Deborah Semer to produce a t-shirt, brochure and newsletter for the new London Bridge Studio Tour - The Quintessential Seattle Grunge Tour.

Friends of Georgetown History

One of Brandi's volunteer activities is the Friends of Georgetown History group in Seattle (she also acts as a guide on the annual Georgetown Haunted History Tour). In 2010 and 2011, she put together a revamped website from existing content and archives. Plus she handlles the marketing and social media for the event. She has designed the last three tour posters.

DRUMMERBOY Poster

Drummerboy

When Brandi created the DRUMMERBOY website, something was missing - additional marketing material. With her iPhone, Brandi created the imagery for a poster and print ad for Seattle's premier party band, DRUMMERBOY.
